Responds to Rocket Fire from Lebanon by Hezbollah

Israel IAF response: Israel faced an alarming situation on Saturday when approximately ten rockets were fired from Lebanon by Hezbollah into Israeli territory. The majority of these rockets were intercepted by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), following sirens that went off at 15:30 in Kiryat Shmona. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Israel IAF Strikes Back Launchers in Lebanon

In swift retaliation, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) targeted launchers used in the attack on Ma’ayan Baruch, located in the Houla area of southern Lebanon. The Israel IAF also struck a launcher responsible for firing projectiles towards Zar’it and targeted a Hezbollah military structure in Ayta Ash Shab.

The IDF army reported intercepting several drones that entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon. These drones targeted Western Galilee, resulting in one person being critically wounded. Later it was replied to by Israel IAF.

Hezbollah militants have significantly escalated their attacks, carrying out massive shelling in the Upper Galilee area, and damaging several IDF buildings. The Israeli military confirmed the heavy shelling and responded by destroying Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon. The IDF killed a Hezbollah operative in Rachana Al Foukhar.

Israel’s News Media: 30 Rockets Fired from Lebanon

The situation further escalated when Hezbollah launched a massive 30-rocket attack on northern Israel, specifically targeting the Northern Galilee Panhandle. This marked the second such attack in 24 hours. In a speech, Hezbollah’s leader vowed relentless resistance until Israel ends its war in Gaza. This attack resulted in the tragic death of two Israeli civilians.
